Chairman & Managing Director – Sunbird Lanka Tours & Travels (Pvt) Ltd

I am the Chairman & Managing Director of Sunbird Lanka Tours & Travels (Pvt) Ltd, a licensed inbound tour operator registered with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) since 2010, and the Managing Partner at Rohana Hettiarachchi & Company, a firm specializing in audit, taxation, and financial advisory services. I also serve as an Associate Wealth Planners’ Manager at AIA Insurance Lanka Ltd.

With over 25 years of leadership experience spanning finance, taxation, auditing, and tourism, I bring a distinctive blend of financial discipline and strategic insight into Sri Lanka’s inbound travel industry. My professional journey includes senior roles at Ernst & Young Colombo, the Caritas Colombo Tsunami Rehabilitation Project, and other leading private sector organizations.

At Sunbird Lanka Tours, we are actively embracing a new phase in our journey-one that places sustainability, eco-conscious travel, and community-based tourism at the heart of everything we do.
