These Booking Terms & Conditions outline the responsibilities of both Sunbird Tours and our valued guests. By confirming a booking, you agree to the following terms, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
Final Payment:
The remaining 60% of the total tour cost must be paid no later than 21 days prior to the start of the tour.
Late Bookings:
For bookings made within 21 days of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Hotel stays in shared double/twin rooms, inclusive of daily breakfast and dinner.
No refunds will be provided for unused portions of the tour or no-shows on the start date.
In the unlikely event of cancellation by the tour provider due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disaster, political unrest), a full refund will be issued, or an alternative travel date offered.
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original method of payment.
Special cases (e.g., early check-outs, no-shows) are assessed individually.
COVID-19 & Emergencies:
We offer 100% refund if cancellation is due to pandemic-related restrictions within 21 days of arrival.
We prioritize your safety. In case of political unrest, natural disasters, or travel bans, we ensure:

We aim to stick to your original itinerary. However, in unavoidable situations (e.g., hotel overbooking), changes will be discussed and fairly adjusted, including refunds for downgraded services or coverage of transfer costs.
Have dietary needs, room preferences, or mobility requirements? Let us know during booking and reconfirm via email. While we strive to fulfill every request, we cannot guarantee them unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
You are responsible for confirming medical readiness for the tour. Please consult your doctor and notify us of any limitations or medical conditions before booking.
If your itinerary is only partially booked through Sunbird Tours, we are not responsible for third-party services such as flights, rail tickets, or hotels booked independently.
Once hotel selections are finalized, changes are only permitted in unavoidable circumstances and subject to availability and additional cost.
Please research selected accommodations beforehand. If a client insists on changes, any additional cost will be borne by the client.
We do not endorse or guarantee purchases made during the tour (e.g., jewelry, crafts, etc.). All purchases are at your discretion and risk.
Your package price will not be affected by currency fluctuations. Only government-imposed changes may affect final costs.
Guests are responsible for ensuring all personal travel documents (passport, visa, insurance, vaccination, etc.) are valid and in order before travel.
Sunbird Lanka Tours assumes liability only in cases of proven negligence for services we directly manage. Clients are encouraged to maintain personal safety and take reasonable precautions throughout the trip.
While we strive for accuracy, travel content may rely on sources such as SLTDA, Wikipedia, Lonely Planet, TripAdvisor, and hotel websites. Temporary changes (e.g., renovations, weather) may impact experiences, and we are not liable for third-party inaccuracies.
